Lenka Lutonska, Business Trainer and Coach

Lenka Lutonska is a Business Trainer, Coach and author of 'Energetic Selling and Marketing'. Lenka tells The Industry Leaders about her journey, including how the pain of losing a previous business spurred her on to create her current company and even write a book.

How did you end up sitting where you are today?

I moved from Slovakia to the UK when I was 19 and worked for MacDonalds whilst I studied counselling, hypnotherapy, psychotherapy and eventually NLP. From there, I set up my business - that was in 2007.

It had its ups and downs and, at one point, I even lost the business. That experience was necessary for me to re-start, develop, and evolve it to what it is today. I now serve women worldwide, helping them create extraordinary growth in their businesses by utilising their personal energy.

What kind of work does your role involve?

I am the Director of my company, so I pay a lot of attention to strategy, ideas, creation, and team communication. I am a Creator, so I also spend a lot of time creating and developing my offerings.

What gets you excited about your industry?

The fact that it is based on personal transformation and it changes lives. What is better than that?

What's the best advice anyone ever gave you?

"Anything is possible!" While this advice can be seen as quite 'out there', it can really add direction to our thinking and, when we operate under this principle, we can create and achieve so much more.

What, or who inspires you?

Each and every successful entrepreneur who believed in their dream is a massive source of inspiration for me. However, my biggest inspirations are my clients - they inspire me daily.

How do you keep up to speed with what's happening in your industry?

I actually work a little differently, and consciously do not look around too much so as not to be influenced away from my own thinking. I believe in being creative from within rather than by following trends.

What was the most challenging project or situation you've overcome?

That was undoubtedly the loss of my first business due to an unhealthy partnership. I lost my sense of identity and confidence and struggled to rebuild the company for several years afterwards.

That really forced me to go deep within, and I found an inner strength that I never knew I had, to just carry on and take bigger and bigger risks. The work that I did in those times is now known as Energetic Selling and Marketing. I wrote a book about it, and it is now the very basis of my business today.

You finish work today and step outside the office to find a lottery ticket that ends up winning $10 million. What would you do?

Most of it would go back into my business, no joke!

How do you switch off after a day at work?

My day is very flexible, as I don't really have rigid boundaries between business and life - it is all life. But I do make sure I prioritise myself and my family whenever I can.

If you had one wish for the future of your industry, what would it be?

I think my industry is thriving, but it is not regulated, which can be a pain. So it would be great if there was some kind of regulation brought in in the near future.

What book or podcast should everyone know about?

I love the older classic books. One of those books that made a huge difference to me was The Science of Getting Rich by Wallace Wattles.

How should people connect with you?

You can connect with me via any of the following:
