Sandra Ganz, Founder of Ganz Sandra Coaching

Sandra Ganz's journey into coaching began with a blessing and a marriage proposal from her former boss! Today, Sandra helps women overcome self-doubt and confidence issues to help them flourish in life and in business.
How did you end up sitting where you are today?
If I don't see sense in what I'm doing, I don't want it to do. That is difficult to handle when you are an employee, so I thought being my own boss would be the best thing to do. As I truly believe that mindset is everything, I became a Mindset Coach.
I discussed my thinking with my former boss, and they replied: "Yes, quit your job. That's a great idea!". So I quit, and one month afterwards, my ex-boss asked me to marry him!
So I ended up being a Mindset Coach AND married.
What kind of work does your role involve?
Most women have a lot of self-doubt, self-worth and confidence issues that hold them back from doing whatever they want to do, meaning they miss out on getting the fulfilment, success and money they want. I empower them to believe and trust themselves, as this is the foundation of their lives and businesses.
What gets you excited about your industry?
That with the right mindset, the possibilities are endless. Maybe you are just one shift away from what you want. That's something a good Coach can help you with.
What's the best advice anyone ever gave you?
Don't believe everything you think, and stop feeling sorry for yourself.
If people stopped listening to all these limiting thoughts, they would be way more creative, focused, and productive.
What's the best way to support aspiring leaders in your field?
To make sure they receive all the support, they need to learn to trust and believe in themselves and their possibilities.
Furthermore, it's essential to learn to listen to your intuition and know that you don't need to follow "all the rules". People can make their own rules to become successful.
How do you keep up to speed with what's happening in your industry?
Well, I don't. Meaning that I don't care much about what others are doing and what the latest hype is about. My philosophy is more a kind of: be real, be yourself and do your thing your way.
What was the most challenging project or situation you've overcome?
It was very difficult to trust that everything will turn out well when starting out with my business. Especially in the beginning when I made some mistakes (though with great lessons there). But with time and collecting evidence every day, the trust grows, and so did the success.
You finish work today and step outside the office to find a lottery ticket that ends up winning $10 million. What would you do?
I would buy a house in Italy, travel the world and donate to a childcare organisation.
How do you switch off after a day at work?
I take a bit of "ME-Time". Just me, myself and I. Without anyone around.
If you had one wish for the future of your industry, what would it be?
I would love it if, in some corners of my industry, there would be a bit less noise and a bit more quality.
What book or podcast should everyone know about?
The Book "Unblocked" by Margaret Lynch.
