Christian Comair: GET Group’s High-End Residential and Palace Projects

Engineer Christian Comair is the indirect owner of GET Group, a Qatar-based organization that offers a full spectrum of design, construction, and engineering services. Throughout his time with the company, Kristian Comair has overseen a range of different projects, including everything from mega projects and the creation of infrastructure to the construction and renovation of palaces and historic municipal buildings. This article will look at GET Group’s high-end residential projects and the organization’s work constructing luxury villas and palaces across the Middle East and Mediterranean.
Located in Souk El Gharb Aley, Lebanon, the Souk El Gharb Palace project involved the design and construction of a principal four-level palace as well as a guard house, guest house, soft and hard landscaping, and all related utilities. Located on South Mount Lebanon, Souk El Gharb Palace spans approximately 9,000 square meters, with the main villa and ancillary buildings skirted by boundary fences and a total built-up area of 7,796 meters squared.
Bersaf Palace was a project that involved the construction of a VIP palace in the Bhersaf area of North Metn Casa in Lebanon. The footprint of the development covered approximately 19,000 square meters in total, consisting of a basement, ground floor, and two upper floors. The VIP suite comprised a bedroom, private WC, dressing room, steam room, and beauty salon. Another suite included three master bedrooms as well as a kitchen, lounge, dining room, and storage room. The four guest suites included two master bedrooms each, as well as a kitchen, lounge, and dining room. There were also suites for personal assistants, as well as a VIP office and television room, a swimming pool and jacuzzi, private club, industrial kitchen, driver apartment, guard apartment, maid room, and technical areas. Outside the main building, GET Group created expansive terraces, parking, and access roads. This ambitious luxury development took 48 months to design and construct in total.
The Palace at Jabal Al-Akhdar was another major project undertaken by GET Group. Spanning a total built area of 24,000 square meters and located in Jabal Al-Akhdar in Oman, the development comprises three main buildings and took 36 months to complete. This private palace was designed and constructed following the traditional Omani style of architecture and interior design, providing the ultimate in both opulence and practicality. The development included external works ancillary to the main buildings, including connection to utility services up to the plot limit to make the facility fully operational as a turnkey project.
GET Group also designed and built Al Guariya Palace, which is located in Ghariya, Qatar. The project, which took 18 months to complete, culminated in the creation of a main villa and guest villa, guard rooms, and an external kitchen and majilis, along with all ancillary services. Comprising a ground floor and first floor, the main villa featured a swimming pool and terrace. Set on a 22,000-square-meter plot, the development boasts a 150-metre-long stretch of sea views, as well as 15,000 square meters of landscaped gardens.
Comprising two luxury villas situated in the Rayyan area, Abdul Aziz Bin Ahmad Palace was delivered by GET Group, which also handled construction of the access roads as well as hard and soft landscaping of external areas. With a total plot area of 42,000 square meters and 9,000 square meters of services, the complex includes guard rooms, offices, stores, staff accommodation, and a fully equipped industrial kitchen.
